About our Program

This Crime Stoppers Program began in 1984 and operates as an independent non-profit organization. The concept has developed into a combination of efforts by local media, businesses, civic and social clubs, law enforcement agencies, and the public. Donations of airtime, newspaper space and reward monies have established Crime Stoppers as an effective tool to fight crime in Midland.

The Crime Stoppers Board of Directors is comprised of diverse, active and dedicated civilian volunteers, as well as law enforcement advisors.

Mission Statement

The mission of Midland Crime Stoppers is to carry out a community offensive against crime through law enforcement, the media and citizen involvement by encouraging the public to report information about criminal activities and paying rewards for such information that helps to solve crimes.
